Muzeum Historyczne w Sanoku

If you know the paintings of Zdzisław Beksiński, Sanok holds the largest collection of his work anywhere in the world. That is the main reason to come, though the museum also has collections of older and contemporary art. It grew out of a regional museum founded in 1934 and is housed in Sanok Castle. Within the Podkarpackie region, only a couple of museums draw more visitors.
