Muzeum Četnická stanice

This museum follows the story of the gendarmerie station in Chlumec nad Cidlinou from 1866 to 1945, with an emphasis on the First Republic. Part of the display is in traditional showcases with items such as uniforms; another part is a gendarme office and barracks furnished as in the late 1930s, where visitors can try out some of the objects. A small library of period publications is also part of the museum.
