Muzeum břidlice

Slate from the Budišov area has its own museum in a former water mill. Information panels and display cases trace the rock from its formation through surface and deep mining to finished goods such as school slates and gramophone records. There are also fossils, with fern and Culm fauna imprints in slate slabs. A video shows real mining in a deep mine, and a guide explains the exhibits during the visit.
