Museum Wattens

Housed in the Neidharthaus opposite the town hall, this local museum traces on three floors how Wattens grew from a Tyrolean mountain village into an internationally connected industrial town. A central display case spanning all three levels combines archaeological finds with industrial history, including a Swarovski chandelier from a James Bond film. The story of the paper mill and of Swarovski is part of it too.
