Museum-Schloß Lembeck

Lembeck Castle stands on two islands within a broad moated system, surrounded by the woods and meadows of the Hohe Mark nature park. Its buildings line up along an east-west axis about 500 metres long, a rare layout in Baroque architecture. From the 200-metre avenue you look across two drawbridges and through the gatehouse to the main castle. Museums, a park and forest belong to the grounds, making it a pleasant destination for a bike or car trip.
