Museum KulturLand Ries

Set in a Baroque monastery complex at Maihingen, this museum shows how country people in the Nördlinger Ries lived. The former monastery farm buildings hold a large permanent exhibition on the changing face of farming in the Ries, while the old brewery presents 300 years of everyday culture. The richly decorated monastery church is worth a look too.
