Anyone curious how Gladbeck became the town it is today will find the answer here. The town museum follows local life and history from the past to the present, in the old manor house and gatehouse of Wittringen moated castle, where it has been housed since 1928. Alongside the permanent exhibition, it draws on a collection of the town's material heritage. Admission is free.
