Museum Castellum

This museum traces more than 2,000 years of Kastel, the bridgehead town between Mainz and Wiesbaden, from the Roman castellum to the present. It sits in the Reduit on the Kastel museum riverfront. Related sites include the remains of a Roman triumphal arch, a rafters' room on Main and Rhine rafting, and the Erbenheimer Warte, a tower of the old Landwehr.
