Rýmařov's museum covers the history of the town and its region, with permanent displays alongside changing exhibitions. It began as a German museum in 1901, lost its collections after the war and was refounded in 1991 with the help of many volunteers. It also runs the chapel V Lipkách, the Hrádek exhibition and the Octopus gallery, so there is more to see than one building.
