Landesmuseum Württemberg

Housed in Stuttgart's Old Castle, this museum traces the cultural history of Württemberg from the Ice Age to the end of the monarchy in the 19th century. You will find collections on antiquity and the Celts, along with the dukes' Kunstkammer, where anything rare, precious or curious was gathered. The holdings also include the Württemberg crown jewels, medieval art and a glass collection. There is a children's museum too.
