Kunsthaus Bregenz

Peter Zumthor's building of glass, steel and cast concrete stands by Lake Constance and, from outside, looks like a lamp taking in the changing light of the sky. Across some 1,880 square metres on the ground floor and three upper floors, international contemporary artists show work that is mostly made for these very rooms. The house also keeps its own collection of Austrian contemporary art and of works where art meets architecture.
