Krkonošské muzeum Vrchlabí

This is the place to get your bearings before heading into the Krkonoše mountains. The main exhibition fills a former Augustinian convent, which reopened in November 2023 after a major renovation as the national park's main visitor centre, Muzeum Krkonoš. Smaller exhibitions are scattered through the old part of Vrchlabí. The collections grew from a library started in 1881 and a museum founded two years later.
