Holzschnitt-Museum

Relief printing, above all the woodcut, is the subject of this museum in Öschingen, part of Mössingen. It sits in the old town hall, a half-timbered house from 1700. The foundation of woodcut artist Klaus Herzer holds about 1,800 wood and metal prints, plus printing blocks, wood sculptures, monotypes and presses. Sample images and texts explain the printing techniques.
