Heimatmuseum Moringen

The old moated castle of Moringen, dating from the 12th century, houses this local museum, where 950 square metres tell the town's history. A model of the town recalls the fire of 1734 that destroyed almost all of it. Further displays cover farming, crafts, trade and the household, along with a flag collection counted among the most important in Lower Saxony.
