Heimatmuseum Empfingen

In a tithe barn from 1737 in the centre of Empfingen, this local museum covers rural life between 1850 and 1950 across five floors. The focus is on the masons' and stonecutters' trades, alongside tilers, carpenters, painters, shoemakers, coopers and wheelwrights. There are also displays on country home life, farming, village doctors and pharmacists, and rooms on the imperial era and the world wars.
