Hallstattzeitliches Museum

Finds from the Hallstatt period around the Burgstallkogel are the focus of this museum in Großklein, opened in 1990. A major seat of power stood here between the 8th and 6th centuries BC, and over 700 burial mounds survive, among them four so-called princely graves. The displays present results of excavations in the settlement and the mounds.
