Feuerwehrmuseum Schauenstein

Housed in Schauenstein's former knightly castle, this museum uses 600 square metres to trace firefighting in the Hof district from 1855 to today. Every exhibit is an original that served with a local fire brigade. The same building also holds the town's local history museum, with stuffed animals, a mineral collection and craftsmen's and townspeople's rooms.
