Bauernhausmuseum Herk

An old farmhouse, rebuilt on its stone walls after the village fire of 1732, shows peasant life of the 19th century on the eastern edge of the Alps. Farm families lived here until around 1990, and the house can be seen with its furnishings. Exhibits include old farm tools, clothing and shoes made on the farm, and the tools used to make them. The roof is original, covered in wooden shingles.
