Alte Kornbrennerei

A former grain distillery in the centre of Sundern now houses a local history museum. The listed building grows out of a late medieval defensive tower from around 1500, and grain was distilled here until the late 1960s. The museum focuses on the crafts, industry and economic history of the area. The tall chimney of 1909 and the boiler house facing the river Röhr still recall the distillery.
