Afrika-Museum Bergen-Sülze

This village museum in Sülze lets you handle things: measure the longest snake, try on the biggest teeth, open a fearsome jaw, climb a Lobi ladder and blow the king's trumpet. Animals and plants, everyday objects, cultural treasures and photographs build up a picture of Africa. A village schoolteacher started the collection almost a century ago for his pupils. Today the guided tours are given by a couple who have lived in Africa themselves.
