This science centre near Wels town centre devotes 2,500 square metres to renewable energy and saving energy. Indoors and out, visitors try out around 150 exhibits themselves, exploring water power, biomass, solar, wind and geothermal energy. The building, opened in 2011, was constructed to a very-low-energy standard.
