Art and cultural history of Thuringia are the focus here, spread across several sites in Eisenach: the museum in the town palace, the Predigerkirche, the tea room in the Kartausgarten and the Reuter-Wagner Museum. The collection began in 1899 with crafts, sacred art and archaeological finds from western Thuringia. It is also a stop on the Thuringian Porcelain Road.
