This gallery shows contemporary art from Bremen and the surrounding region, including photography, sculpture and painting. It occupies the former fermentation and storage cellars of the Remmer brewery in the Buntentor quarter, and the conversion kept as much as possible of the building's distinctive character. Since 1985 it has served as a base for Bremen's art scene.
