Situation Kunst

Several pavilions in the park of Haus Weitmar were built specifically to house contemporary art. Inside hang paintings and drawings, and stand sculptures, by Gotthard Graubner, Norbert Kricke, Arnulf Rainer and Jan Schoonhoven. The core of the collection is formed by room-sized environments from Richard Serra, Maria Nordman and David Rabinowitch. Buildings, artworks and garden are designed to speak to one another, so the visit doubles as a stroll through the grounds.
