Römer und Bajuwaren Museum Burg Kipfenberg

In a former farm building of Kipfenberg Castle, the focus is on Roman life in the province of Raetia, the rise and fall of the Limes, the Migration Period and the first Bavarians in the Altmühl valley. The museum grew out of the 1990 discovery of a richly furnished Germanic warrior's grave at Kemathen. The regional Limes info point is housed here too.
