Richard Haizmann Museum

Upstairs in this modern art museum in Niebüll, a permanent display presents work by Richard Haizmann, the sculptor, painter and graphic artist who lived in the town from 1934 until his death in 1963. The rest of the museum is given over to changing shows of classical modern and contemporary art. These lean towards northern German and Scandinavian artists and towards constructive and concrete art, but painting, sculpture and photography by artists from across Germany and Europe also appear.
