Okresní muzeum Praha-východ v Brandýse nad Labem

Housed in the Arnoldin House on the square in Brandýs nad Labem, this museum also looks after several sites nearby: the Brandýs executioner's house, the Josef Lada Memorial in Hrusice, the Memorial to National Oppression and Resistance in Panenské Břežany, and Jenštejn castle. It makes a good starting point for a day that mixes the town with a trip to Lada's village or to the history of occupation and resistance. Events run through the year, such as Advent crafts in Hrusice.
