Muzeum ghetta Terezín

Housed in a former primary school in the centre of Terezín, this museum tells of the people held in the Terezín ghetto during the Second World War. The permanent exhibition from 1991 was created in close cooperation with former prisoners. Documents and objects show daily life under the threat of transports, and the creative and artistic work prisoners kept up. There is also a cinema hall for documentary films and a souvenir shop.
