A austere cube of brick, designed by the Swiss architects Bearth & Deplazes, houses this art museum, which opened in 2001. It focuses on contemporary art and holds a collection of Swabian art with more than 250 paintings, drawings, photographs and sculptures. It also works as a workshop and event space, and hosts the Ostallgäu art exhibition.
