Freilichtmuseum Burg- und Kloster Oybin

Atop a 514-metre sandstone massif in the Zittau Mountains stand the ruins of Oybin castle and monastery, a main sight of the Upper Lusatia region. The keep holds the permanent exhibition Der Oybin – ein Fels in der Weltgeschichte, and the Bahrhaus presents Heilige und Sünder. Guided tours cover the castle's history, and the pleasure lies in medieval walls set against rugged rock scenery.
