Flößerei- und Verkehrsmuseum Gengenbach

Housed in a former railway keeper's house, this museum stands where the Kinzig river, the Black Forest Railway and the road meet. The ground floor is about timber rafting, with a raft model showing a rafting scene, tools, everyday objects and photographs, including from other parts of Germany and Europe. The upper floor turns to the Kinzig, among other themes. The listed building was saved from demolition and renovated by volunteers.
