Die Gruppe S.P.U.R.

The old poorhouse outside Cham's Biertor, a late Gothic building from the 16th century and one of the town's oldest surviving secular structures, now holds the art of the SPUR group. The artists came together in Munich in the 1950s, and the museum shows their paintings, sculpture and works on paper, some of them on loan. It also gathers documentation about the group. On the ground floor, the town archive presents displays on local history.
