Bauhaus Museum Dessau

For anyone drawn to the Bauhaus, Dessau is the right place to come. The museum, which opened in 2019 beside the city park, puts around 1,000 pieces on show across 2,100 square metres of exhibition space. They come from a collection of roughly 49,000 catalogued items, the second largest on the subject after the Bauhaus-Archiv in Berlin. The building was designed by the Barcelona firm addenda architects, and the permanent display fills the upper floor.
