Areál československého opevnění Šatov

Near the village of Šatov, this site recalls the Czechoslovak border fortifications built in 1935–1938 against Nazi Germany. Visitors can enter the infantry bunker MJ-S 3 Zahrada, which holds an exhibition on the fortifications of South Moravia, the bunker's own history and how such works were used after the Second World War. It was poured in concrete in August 1938 and never finished before the border areas were ceded. A neighbouring bunker and two light pillboxes belong to the site.
