Altmühltaler Mühlenmuseum

The Rengnath Mill, first mentioned in 1467, is the last working mill in the Altmühl valley. Over four floors, the water power of the Weiße Laaber alone drives the machinery through 53 leather belts. A ground-floor exhibition recalls that from 1897 the mill produced Dietfurt's first electric power and supplied the town until 1950. Guided tours run while the mill is turning.
