Everything here revolves around the Thuringian Rostbratwurst: pig breeds, meat and sausage processing, recipes and the tools used to make it. The centrepiece is a 1404 account book containing the first written mention of bratwurst. It is both a museum and a theme park, and since 2023 it has been based in Mühlhausen, having previously stood near Arnstadt.
