Wald- und Moormuseum Berumerfehn
Großheide, Niedersachsen
Forest and raised bog are the themes here. Dioramas and display cases show preserved native forest animals and birds. A local-history collection describes how the Berumerfehn moor was settled, the bog with its plants and animals, and the forest as a habitat. Run by volunteers, the museum was founded in 1964 and reopened in 2024 after a thorough overhaul.
