Vulkanpark Infozentrum

Between Plaidt and Saffig, this information centre at the Rauschermühle was the first of the Vulkanpark's visitor centres, opened in 2000. One exhibition explains the volcanoes of the East Eifel and how the landscape around the Laacher See formed, using films, large photos and rock samples. A second section covers archaeology and the history of technology.
