Neudorf is known in the Ore Mountains as Suppenland, soup country, and this museum is devoted entirely to soup. You will find recipes, utensils, pictures and texts, along with pots, plates, tureens and pans that show how plainly village cooks in the region worked. Local customs such as the soup-cooking Olympics and the soup-pot pulling are explained too.
