Stifterhaus

Writer and painter Adalbert Stifter lived in this house in Linz, built in 1844, from 1848 until his death in 1868. His former study is kept as a memorial room with authentic furniture, manuscripts, paintings, drawings, portraits and his death mask. The house holds Upper Austria's literature museum and a literary centre that hosts readings.
