Stadttheater Grein

With just 167 seats, including original reserved seats still in place, this small Rococo theatre in Grein is a gem. It was fitted out in 1791 inside a granary of the sixteenth-century town hall and is still in regular use. It is the oldest regularly used town theatre in Austria. From May to October, theatre exhibitions are also open to visitors.
