Städtische Galerie Traunstein

Paintings from the 17th century to today form the core of Traunstein's municipal art collection, which holds around 3,000 works. It also includes the estate of woodcut artist Ernst von Dombrowski, drawings and sketchbooks by local artists, and prints by Wilhelm Neufeld. The gallery sits in the former Portenstock of the Capuchin monastery and shows contemporary art as well as themed displays from its own holdings.
