Sog. Haus der Kultur

The Haus der Kultur in St. Georgen is largely devoted to Johann Beer (1655–1700), the Baroque writer and composer born in this area. The permanent exhibition follows his life as an artist and his times, from his musical training in monasteries and in Regensburg to his compositions. A second permanent display is dedicated to the scholar Prof. E. W. Ricek.
