In the plain village schoolhouse of 1889 at Michelstetten, this museum shows what school in Austria used to be like. Several classrooms are furnished as they were between 1840 and 1900, and there is a rich stock of teaching aids dating from 1817 onwards. The collection has been built up since 1980.
