Schaustickerei Plauen
Plauen, Sachsen
A house and a small embroidery workshop from around 1900 still hold their original embroidery machines. The courtyard building went up in 1902 for ten machines, during Plauen's embroidery boom, and the firm kept working until 1996. You see how textile work was done in Saxony, in rooms built for exactly that. The ensemble is a listed monument.
