Sammlung alter Musikinstrumente

Historic musical instruments from Habsburg collections, with roots in the 16th century, fill the first floor of the Neue Hofburg on Heldenplatz. The collection is especially rich in Renaissance and Baroque instruments, and it also documents Vienna's tradition of piano making. Since 2018 the entrance has been through the Weltmuseum Wien.
