Saarlandmuseum

This art museum in Saarbrücken is spread over three sites, each with its own focus. The Palace Church holds religious art from the Middle Ages to the 19th century, baroque princely graves and colourful windows by Georg Meistermann. The Old Collection, next to the palace, shows paintings from the 16th to the 19th centuries, including landscapes and still lifes, along with silverware, porcelain, coins, sculpture and furniture. The Modern Gallery covers more recent art.
