The ground floor of the old town hall, built in 1609 on Husovo náměstí, holds a small museum of local history. Photographs and display panels trace Chabařovice from its beginnings to the Second World War, along with the nearby villages that gave way to brown coal mining. The story runs on to the changing landscape and Lake Milada. Visits are by prior arrangement.
