Museumsbahnhof Weißwasser

Just a two-minute walk from Weißwasser-Teichstraße station, this railway museum traces the story of the Muskau Forest Railway. Photographs and exhibits also cover the former industrial region and the Muskau Arch, and staff explain technical details such as the diamond-shaped chimney on the steam locomotive. Around the grounds and the visitor centre stand many freight wagons that once hauled cellulose, brown coal, gravel and clay. Staff will show you around if you ask.
