Museum der Stadt Aue

From Argentan to tin, the displays range across the history of Aue-Bad Schlema. The town museum occupies a rebuilt mine-office building at the foot of the Heidelsberg, dating from the days of Aue's tin mining. Exhibits show the work and life of the ore miners, and a show tunnel inside the building lets you step into the mining world yourself. There is parking by the museum, and the town centre is a few minutes' walk away.
